The Cavitt Science Department aligns the science curriculum to the California content standards. This year, we are transitioning from the 1997 standards to the newly-adopted Next Generation Science Standards. In 7th grade, we'll emphasize the life sciences, with a little physics and earth science thrown in to round things out. We have planned a year full of learning with lots of hands-on activities and lab work.
