The Cavitt staff is committed to providing a variety of instructional supports based upon the individual needs of each student. We recognize that students learn at different rates and may need additional support at different points in the curriculum. Math Tutoring
Math tutoring is available to all students. The following days and times are available to students to get additional help with skills, understanding of concepts, review of absent work, or a quiet place to begin on science homework.
Snack Break & Lunch: Mon- Fri (room 22)
After School: Tues & Thurs 2:30-3:00
*Please note that there may be days that are cancelled due to other professional obligations.

Cooperative Groups
Benefits
Cooperative learning benefits students of all ability levels as it builds strong awareness of social responsibility for their peer's learning and individual self confidence. Students who work together in structured groups persevere in solving problems, presenting their understanding of learning and help partners with concepts being learned.
