All, we are in unprecedented waters here with this school closure and distance learning. For the next few weeks your learning will take place through G-classroom. Please visit Google Classroom regularly and try your best to keep up with the assignments. I will be available through email daily and will do my best to respond to emails within 24 hours. 

 

English 8 - In regards to Frankenstein, we will pick up right where we left off when we return. In regards to your work for the next three weeks, please look at Google Classroom. Weeks 1 and 2 will be devoted to your Independent Research Essay Assignment and Week 3 will be two Article Deconstructions. 

 

Forensics -  Please focus on your Core classes. I'm so sorry we will miss out on really cool Forensics learning but I promise to do all the fun stuff when we return.

Weeks 1 and 2 - Independent Research Assignment. Find this on Google Classroom. Your outline is do 3/20 and your Essay is due 3/29 by midnight. Do not forget about your Sound Track Assignment - it is due 3/25.

 

Week 3 - At the start of week 3 (3/30) two Article Deconstructions will be posted. Both will be due 4/3. 

 

Forensics -

3/16 - 4/13 - None - please focus on your core classes and make sure you keeping up with the content from there. 

* I encourage nightly reading of about 20 minutes. And while I won't be grading this, I do try to have conversations about what students are reading at home for pleasure. 

 

* I am very available to help students with any work they may have. Every day at lunch and after school by appointment. 

 

* On the left: This is the three week class calendar that is displayed in my room. I have one for each class I am teaching (English and Forensics). I will do my best to update this calendar as the year continues, that being said, sometimes we run out of time and need to complete something the next day. If something like this happens, the schedule and calendar will change. 

 

* On the right: This is nightly homework. I will do my best to update this daily, though sometimes this might be weekly.
