2025-2026 Cavitt VEX Robotics Club signups are open!

We are now recruiting for Cavitt Cyber Cowboys (VEX 9537), a student-led competitive robotics team for Cavitt Jr High School students. Each year 3-6 Cavitt VEX robotics teams design and build robotics, competing in the exciting Northern California VEX Robotics Competition. Cavitt Jr High has the only school affiliated robotics Jr High team in Placer County, and has been competing since 2013.

The Cavitt VEX teams will be demoing their 24-25 State Championship High Stakes Robots at the Ridgeview Open House on May 8th and Cavitt Open House on May 15th! Stop by to find out more about the award-winning Cavitt VEX program and our unique student-led culture. Learn how you can join the Cavitt VEX Club, build cool robots and represent Cavitt at competitions throughout Northern California.

Finally, Cavitt VEX Club Information meeting will be later May (tentatively Tuesday, May 21st, but to be confirmed)!

Parents, prospective team members and siblings all welcome!

Founded in 2013, Cavitt Cyber Cowboys was the first VEX Robotics program in Placer County! With the support of Cavitt's great STEM curriculm, the Cyber Cowboys qualified 6 teams to the Region Championships in 2024, with 3 teams advancing to the VEX World Championships!
